The bagua circle sparring is a combative free fighting method that trains the students to fight using their senses while going all out without hurting each other.  The circle sparring is similar yet different from the push hands (tui sao) training found in Tai Chi Ch'uan or the energy hands (chi sao) training that is found in Wing Chun. The circle sparring trains you to be spontaneous and to keep the all-important center while moving through chaos.
