What:

Some of the notables: 

  • Paul Yamaguchi, the third black belt in Kempo in the USA under James Mitose.
  • Ming Lum, known as the "godfather" of Kung Fu in America.  A friend of Bruce Lee and many in the martial arts over the years.
  • Mike Young, Champion boxer in the 1940's and student of Grandmaster Lau Bun in San Francisco.  Mike is a master of Kajukempo with Emperado. 
  • Al Dacascos - founded Wun Hop Kuen Do in 1969 and has over 40 years experience in the martial arts.  He was one of the most respected and well known competitors during the 1970's consistently winning tournaments in forms, weapons and fighting.
  • Al Novak, one of Bruce Lee's teachers and friends, and one of the most knowledgeable martial arts grandmasters alive today.
  • Imi Okazaki Mullins, the daughter of Jujitsu pioneer Henry Okazaki, and a great teacher of her father's method.
